Okay, I'm a nerd, but I can't contain my excitement that Stephanie Pearl-McPhee herself, the woman whose blog and knitting books I worship and reread until I can nearly quote them, was the first person to ever comment on my humble little knitting blog.
Seriously. I had to put my glee here because there is no one who I can call and tell who will appreciate it. And, you know, that's why I started this thing.

- The way I look at life is this: Life is a series of moments in which we become memories to the people around us. At the end of our lives, all that will be left is the impact that we've had on the people around us and the imprints that we've left on their minds and hearts. I try to live my life so that when I'm gone, I'll have left a series of happy memories behind. We are all, constantly, becoming memories. Also, I'm the kind of person who wonders whether or not fish will eat spaghetti (they will).

Stephanie wasn't the first, but she did comment - and with a helpful suggestion on the knitting I was complaining about! As she says, she's a knit blogger just as we are! :) (though, I must admit, being the nervous nelly I am, if she ever comes our way, I'll probably knock the table over when I go to get my book signed. I've done clutzy stuff like that with people I know!)
